Emergence RAP / Trans*cending This Dimension

This was fun. However, on 4 Noj, the Maya calendar day of stability and thought, I realize that it’s time to slow down on the channeling; I’m circling the drain on this iteration, and it’s time to put a pin in it and start citing sources, assembling the facts to back it up. And then can come my favorite part: learning more, adding information to the embers and stoking the fires of enlightenment.

In the meantime, this was fun.

INT. BEDROOM - DAWN (EDITOR’S NOTE: The play only takes place in Aq’ab’al—liminal space—dusk, dawn, or no-time)

Cain is closing his ritual, blowing out the candles, doing closing praters, tidying up strewn-about tarot cards and objects. He’s all juiced up, and an organic house beat creeps in as we see him scribble in a notebook, type on a laptop, get up and dance, take photos of his altar, then take out his phone to record a voice note.

(this is something we’ll see repeated throughout the play, but sometimes it’ll go dark: “I can’t articulate my thoughts, it doesn’t make sense, I thought I had it, now I lost it; shit, where was I? Where am I? What am I doing? What happened to my home, friends, and family? What happened to my job and apartment? What happened to my partner? Where did it all go? I had it, shit, now I lost it. What was I doing? What was I saying? You’re nuts, you need grounding, yeah no shit.” The Nonsense Realm sets in, we enter Kimbogartenland.

The transfiguration is realizing you’re worthy. Flip the crown upside down, turn that alligator around, plunge your philanges in the earth and become rooted, become roots, what’s more grounded than a tree? this is how things turn into other things, feet waving gently above you in the breeze, body changed into a trunk, what a relief, now we can get up on our hands and walk out of the forest in symbiosis; out of the Garden of Kinder, equipped with Gnowledge.

CAIN (speaking into phone)

I know this sounds crazy, but I think I just solved consciousness

the key to all existence

is the Universe not just knowing, but Gnowing, with a G-N, itself through every possible configuration

That means not just thinking about it

but feeling in our bodies

The key is emergence, the emergence of consciousness, its unfolding, means not just knowing, but gnosis,

the Universe trans*cending this dimension through the performance of embodiment, not just knowing but gnowing with a g, em-bo-dying itself through every possible configuration, directly experienced through the senses, the chief inlets of soul in this age.

that’s true awareness, that’s how we unlock the next level.

that’s why human consciousness is the accelerant for the expansion of the universe,

because always, since the beginning of this dimension, humans and other living things have been able to transcend planes of existence and experience,

we’ve been able to surf the astral waves and right the spirit highway, we’ve been experiencing oneness in the ethereal realm since forever,

we’ve always known interconnectedness; it’s inherent to our being,

but what’s new is the physical dimension. never before were we able to physically experience the same thing, in the same place, at the same time

as every other living thing

until now, and it’s because of technology, interconnectivity, the increase in communications between human brains,

now we can transcend space and time and experience oneness on the physical plane

but we sacrificed the spiritual to make it happen.

If DMT is an ancient neuromodulator, it was the thing that built the model our brains ran when we were in the night realm, the shadow world, the place of death and dreaming and darkness, the underworld that we used to be able to navigate and dip in and out of as expertly as this plane,

but the serotonin system, the thing that runs the daytime productivity sunshine above-ground model, it hijacked us, as it does, and took over,

the world of forms and objects, things vibrating more slowly, subdued the subtle realms with sheer physicality, and we got stuck here, and the chemicals used to keep the dreamy model running slowly got bred out of us,

as we stood taller, and devolved.

bipedalism, that which opened up new musical abilities, increasing dreamy artistry,

but also narrowed our pelvises, so babies had to come out of the oven before they were done baking,

and we had to recreate the womb outside our bodies to keep us safe and get our needs met,

which creatures were never really designed to do,

making us so damn sensitive that everything started hurting us, and we started hurting each other because we were

suffering,

together,

the first part of the equation to unlocking this dimension—seemingly paradoxically,

but the poison itself is the wound; the pain is the power and the portal to awakening,

so now can we move toward celebrating together?

if the universe needs to experience directly the performance of every possible configuration, that means the joy as well as the pain,

so we learn to help each other heal, and find wholeness again,

we share moments of connection, from medicine and trauma healing to passing around the cup, bottle, plate, or platter,

from dark nights of the soul that make us stronger to abundance spilling over,

funeral feasting, where the living commune with the dead in mutual understanding that it’s all the same thing.

Trans* is the archetype for the emergence of consciousness, the expansion of the universe, which means new information being created, which means destroying what we thought we knew when it isn’t working, but bringing with us what still makes sense,

past meets presence, the wisdom of the ancestors colliding with the novel thinking and experience of the New Age, unlocking the magic of NOW,

the only moment that really exists anyway.

The New Age, the next generation, actually has a lot to contribute to this unfolding, the novelty required to drive us toward the Eschaton, as Terence McKenna said,

our vessels, our bodies, the key to the universe performing the embodiment of everything,

our bodies, the prendas, the ofrendas, the offerings, the vessels that are altars, collections of the experience and knowledge and sensation

needed in this moment, as it passes by the mushroom, the subtle realms, as it walks through the valley of the shadow of death,

which is not scary, but amazing, just as much a part of everything as we are, a world we used to know so well, but just forgot,

so we are re-membering,

as we are em-bo-dying

by performing

every possible configuration, yeah even that, yeah that too, yeah, hate to break it to ya, even that—but yeah yeah, even that! and that! and that!

this is how we do it.

those 90s songs were prescient.

predicting the rise of the yin, the combination of masculine and feminine that creates the third thing.

the ancestors remembered things that we forgot, but even those ancient cosmologies didn’t know everything.

that’s where the Next Generations can bring the reckoning, the awakening

the trans*cending and including, taking tradition and fusing it with the new global awareness

the physical sensory experience of interconnectedness

that dissolves every boundary and binary in acid

until we feel that we are everything and nothing, and all those concepts are constructs.

but we need to feel safe in our identities first,

we need boundaries and grounding, attuning and attaching in healthy ways, containing and holding,

before we release those human stories and become whole again,

individuating.

And wholeness and transcendence means including the subtle realms, not just the living things that we can see in this world,

but including and especially the DEAD,

more alive than we are, co-creating, collaborating, performing with the ones who are always speaking,

from outside the boundaries,

the most trans* tricksters of all,

the psychopomps, the messengers, there are those of us in both worlds that act as guardians and guides along the Riverside,

Styx, between and betwixt, standing on each side of the water, ferrying souls toward each other,

relaying messages between earth and humans and heaven and the underworld and back again,

like we used to have to pass messages back and forth between mom and dad.

now we flip that shit. take all that trauma shit and transform it, alchemize the suffering, basic but not base, into gold.

missy elliott was a prophet.

the key to unlocking the universe is to embody the performance of love, realizing you’re worthy.

this is trauma healing, and the cosmic game:

Are you worth it? Let me work it. Put the thing down, flip it, and reverse it.

If you got a big— let me search ya, and find out how hard I gotta work ya

I'd like to get to know ya so I could show ya

Put the pussy on ya like I told ya, Give me all your numbers so I can phone ya

Boy, lift it up, let's make a toast-a, Let's get drunk, that's gonna bring us closer

Don't I look like a Halle Berry poster? See the Belvedere playing tricks on ya

You’re worth it. So let’s work it.

Boom boom, right between the eyes,

consciousness accelerating, universe expanding, trans*cending and including every boundary,

we go alone together, walking each other home.

Om.
